We run weekly martial art classes in NSW, QLD and ACT.

Goshukan Karate Academy runs classes for the whole family, from kids as young as four to teens and adults. Furthermore, we have karate training programs for beginner students to experienced martial artists wanting to take their training to new levels.

Our club is part of Goju-Ryu Karate-Do Seiwakai, Japan. It is one of many member groups operating under our parent organisation Seiwakai, headed by Mr Seiichi Fujiwara Hanshi (8th Dan Seiwakai and JKF Goju-Kai).

Training Locations in ACT

We run karate classes at Forrest Primary School, near Canberra City, The Pearce Centre and soon at our ACT Honbu Dojo in Phillip.

Our Forrest training location is conveniently situated just a suburb away from Canberra City, making it easily accessible from all areas of the ACT. We also offer Saturday morning classes at The Pearce Centre, providing more training opportunities for our students and those living in Canberra's southern regions. Each week, students from across Canberra and neighboring NSW areas, including Queanbeyan, Googong, Manar, Tarago, and Yass, travel to train with us.

Classes are held on Mondays and Fridays from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm at Forrest Primary School, and on Saturdays from 9:15 am to 11:30 am at Pearce. Additionally, in late October 2024, we're opening our Full-Time Karate Dojo in Phillip, ACT. We invite you to view our draft timetable plan for class times.
